             OFF CENTER  is a Memphis band playing original compositions, with all members contributing to the writing and arranging of their Rock and Blues style.

History:  
1996: Starting in Jim's garage, Pat & Jim spent many nights jamming on cover tunes and writing songs way into the early hours. This early chemstry convinced them to keep going.

1998: Began playing as a Trio, having added Mark on the Drums and vocals. This new addition had us moved to Marks attic' for our new practice space.

1999: Added Betty as our lead singer (deceased 2005) and played several festivals. Bettys voice added a smoother/slick quality to the band, which is caputured on our 2001 release "Circle". She left the band in early 2002 to concentrate on her Ceramic Art work.

2002: Back to the power trio with Mark at Lead vocals with Jim & Pat adding the backing. This being the mainstay of our sound for Off Center shows.

2004: Allen joins the Band as drummer and vocalist, and Mark moves to rythm guitar and Lead vocalist. The Band gels and grows into a new style with 4 vocalists and seasoned musicianship.

2005: Playing gigs, and finished our 3 song demo. We are currently working on a new CD and will post new tunes as time allows.
